We bring drums into your workplace.
Watch what happens next.

Aluna is a facilitated group drumming company for HR directors, startup founders, creative teams, and people leaders who know that the best team moments don't happen in slide decks — they happen when people play together.

Drums. Connection. High-performing teams.

The organizations we serve aren't struggling because of bad strategy. They're struggling because their people are depleted — and the usual toolkit isn't working. Pulse surveys. Lunch-and-learns. Team-building activities with zero staying power.

Aluna exists at that gap. We show up with djembes, congas, and frame drums — and we facilitate experiences where your team plays music together for the first time. No skill needed. No pressure. Just people, percussion, and a skilled facilitator guiding the group into something that feels genuinely alive.

Our mission is precise: help organizations build the human foundation from which high performance actually emerges. Through live drumming, authentic connection, and the kind of experience people carry with them long after the last beat fades.

A world where the best team memories are made, not managed

We envision a business landscape where organizations invest in the whole human — not just the worker. Where teams are built with intention, where joy is part of the culture strategy, and where people leave work on a Friday feeling genuinely connected to the people they spent the week with.

Drums are the doorway. They're non-verbal, non-hierarchical, and universally human — pre-dating language itself. When a room full of people picks up percussion instruments together, something ancient wakes up. The CEO and the new hire are suddenly equals. The quiet introvert and the loud extrovert find the same beat. We've watched this happen hundreds of times. It never gets old.

What we stand for

01

Inclusion First

Every experience we design is accessible to all participants — regardless of musical background, physical ability, or personality type. No one gets left behind.

02

Outcomes Over Activities

We are not an entertainment company. We are a performance and culture tool. Every design decision we make is tied to a measurable organizational outcome.

03

Grounded Facilitation

Our approach is structured, professional, and evidence-informed. We bring warmth without sacrificing rigor — and our facilitation holds the space for genuine transformation.

04

Rhythm as Science

Rhythm is not mystical. It is physiological. We anchor our work in the science of human regulation, neurological synchrony, and somatic engagement — and we explain why it works.

The humans behind the drums

Seb Roads

Co-Founder · Lead Facilitator · Business Strategist

Seb is a certified ICDC and Ritmo drum circle facilitator who knows organizations from the inside — having spent years as a Business Operations Leader and as a mentor and investor in startups across South America and Canada. He doesn't just show up with djembes and a playlist. He shows up knowing exactly what your team is dealing with and how to design an experience that addresses it at the source.

His facilitation style is direct, warm, and grounded. He explains the neuroscience before anyone touches a drum. He gets the skeptics bought in first. And then he builds something in the room that most teams have never felt before — a moment of genuine, full-group creative flow.

He and Daniela founded Aluna together, fuelled by a shared belief: that vibrational frequencies and shared rhythm are among the most powerful and most overlooked tools available to the people who care about how organizations actually feel.

Dani, Co-Founder of Aluna

Daniela (Dani)

Co-Founder · Facilitator · Reiki Master

Dani is the person who makes the room safe enough to play. As a Reiki master and ICDC-certified drum circle facilitator, she brings a rare gift: the ability to read a room — to feel where the energy is, where the resistance is, and where the opening is — and guide the group gently, warmly, inevitably toward it.

Her sessions weave together rhythm, movement, and somatic energy work in a way that feels natural rather than forced. You'll pick up a frame drum. You'll start to move. And somewhere in the middle of what you thought was a "team-building exercise," you'll find yourself genuinely present, genuinely laughing, and genuinely connected to the people around you.

Dani is particularly powerful with teams going through transition, grief, or disconnection — the moments when people most need to feel human together, and most struggle to get there on their own.

Structured. Inclusive. Genuinely joyful.

Every session puts real percussion instruments in your team's hands and a skilled facilitator in the room. Here's how it works.

🎯

Intentional Design

We don't show up with a playlist. Every session is designed around your team's current challenges, culture goals, and desired outcomes. We ask, we listen, then we build.

🌊

Progressive Structure

Sessions are structured in deliberate arcs — from opening and grounding, through building and challenge, to integration and reflection. The arc matters. We've refined it over hundreds of sessions.

🤗

Radically Inclusive

No musical experience required. No right or wrong. We create a space where your quietest introvert and your loudest leader both find their seat at the table — and contribute equally.
